    Fall Changes

Fall always seems like a time of change for me.  Time to put my summer clothes away, pull out my warm cozy clothes, can all my harvest.  Was looking at my Pinterest today and I think everyone else must be in the same Fall mindset because this seems to be my most popular pin so far this month (click the picture to go to the pin):

    New Year Do-Over!

I’ve declared a New Year’s do-over at my house.  My youngest got sick on the 1st, followed by my oldest, followed by my usually sexy man turned whiny-pam-can-you-call-my-mom-dude.  SO, on Monday, January 14th I’m re-starting 2013.  Odd I know, but psychologically I need to start this year off on a better note and I choose to make my own rules. So, if your toilet backed up, your mother-in-law showed up, your computer crashed or any other ~ “crap that’s not how I wanted to start a new year” has occurred… join my in saying, “oh, well.  Let’s try that again!”

    unhooked

Well, after 1 whole year of having no internet at home we finally bit the virtual bullet and got internet here at home.  I liked not having the distraction but didn’t love visiting the library every time I needed to shoot off a quick e-mail.  The moral of the story?  It can be done, it just might drive you crazy.

    Cast 2.0

Well on Thursday I got my second cast on.  I went with a Iroquois Purple!  I haven’t decided how I’m going to decorate it yet, but the ideas are starting to brew, and since I’m going to have it for SEVEN WEEKS I guess I have some time to come up with a plan. Now did you know you can get “tattoo’s” for your cast?  I can’t make this stuff up…. check this out. I think I will stick with something a bit more traditional… sharpies.
